Description:
The Award Assembler’s primary responsibility is putting together trophies, plaques, and other awards to the customer’s specifications. No two orders are alike and therefore the job requires the ability to be flexible, and the ability to design and build without formal instructions. While some orders are very specific, others allow for artistic interpretation. Attention to detail is crucial. Everything from making sure an engraved name plate is centered and straight to touching up scratch marks. Job is a prefect fit for someone who likes to put together items with the utmost quality and then seeing the smiles on customers in return.
Job Requirements:
- Follow directive of customer to assemble awards per their specification
- Assemble awards using basic hand tools and other common materials (e.g., glues, paints)
- Making basic math calculations that are used in determining dimensions as well as calculating spacing of plates
- Package finished product securely for pickup or shipping
- Track inventory levels and communicate reorder needs to the office manager
- Unbox and put away incoming inventory
- Comfortable learning and using power tools such as drills, chop saw, and sandblaster
- Answer phones and wait on customers as needed
- Prior experience not required and training will be provided
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
