Production Specialist - 1st Shift

About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Production Specialist
• Pay Rate: $16.37/hr
• Location: St Paul, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6AM–2:30PM
• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills and proficiency with computers and tablets for data entry and reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate selection and measurement of raw materials used in the production process (Product mixer).
• Operate production equipment efficiently to meet quality standards and shipping deadlines.
• Accurately open, update, and close work orders in a timely manner to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Consistently follow safety protocols and company policies, including attendance and appearance standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation and surrounding work areas
• Support month-end inventory counts by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of raw material data.
• Ability to work with all areas of the plant.
• Complete all required production and quality documentation accurately and thoroughly.
• Conduct visual inspections of products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Troubleshoot and escalate production issues as necessary to minimize downtime.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
