What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler - 3rd Shift position at Award Staffing?
About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Material Handler
• Pay Rate Range: $20.00-$30.00/Hour
• Location: Forest Lake, MN
• Schedule: 3rd Shift, Su-Th, 11pm - 7:30am. Must be okay to train on 1st shift for a few weeks with our ‘veteran’ material handlers. Following training, they’d transition to the 3rd shift.
• Position Type: Temp to Hire
Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
Ideally 1 year of plastic injection molding preferred but not required.
Solid background with materials (not just picking, packing, sorting, etc).
A bonus would be experience with different ERP systems and working for a larger warehouse where you’re juggling multiple orders at once.
Rarely lifts 50lbs
Standing or sitting for long durations of time
Use hands and fingers with good dexterity
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate inventory levels
Mix and blend material for production
Complete other warehouse and production functions.
