Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Forklift Operator
• Pay Rate: $21.00/Hour
• Location: Lester Prairie, MN
• Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday 3PM-1AM
• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:
1. 6-12 months prior forklift experience in a warehouse setting.
2. Must be able to read and write in English.
3. Must have basic math skills.
4. Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. frequently.
5. PPE required & provided by client: Gloves, dust mask, and hearing protection.
6. Work appropriate attire. They should dress for the weather. Very warm in summer and very cold in summer.
7. Warehouse and production setting. Very dusty, loud and hot/cold depending on the
8. season.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Perform a combination of forklift operation and general labor duties.
2. Responsible for unloading raw materials such as, chemical totes, paper, and cardboard bales to storage areas from trailers.
3. Responsible for loading finished good products from storage areas to trailers.
4. Filling out work orders and load inspections sheets.
5. Transporting paper bales to designated production areas.
6. Stack finished products on to pallets and prepare for shipping.
7. Assist with other general labor tasks that are needed for area.
8. Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
9. Actively communicate with production members and supervisors.
10. Comply with all safety and OSHA Standards.
