Propane Service Technician
Location: Martinsville, IN
Schedule: Full-Time (local)
Pay: $45,000 - $60,000/year

Job Summary
We are hiring a Propane Service Technician to install propane tanks, complete service work, and support customers throughout the Martinsville area. The Propane Service Technician will perform tank installations, handle routine and emergency service calls, maintain safety standards, and provide reliable customer support. No prior propane experience is required—training is provided.
What You'll Do
- Install residential and commercial propane tanks
- Perform service work, leak checks, and system maintenance
- Respond to emergency service calls when needed
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and compliance requirements
- Assist with bulk plant and equipment compliance checks
- Identify opportunities to provide additional products or services
- Support general labor tasks as needed
What You Need
- Knowledge of propane industry and commercial truck maintenance
- Knowledge of DOT/FMCSR regulations is helpful (training available)
- CDL with proper endorsements preferred but not required
- CETP certification preferred (can be obtained after hire)
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow safety procedures and established processes
- Basic computer skills for entering service notes
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, reach, pull, and perform physical work
- Ability to read service documents and enter information on a computer
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
