We are hiring a Seasonal Grain Handler to support daily grain elevator operations during harvest and storage season. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys physical work, equipment operation, and working in an agricultural environment. As a Seasonal Grain Handler, you will help keep grain moving safely and efficiently throughout the facility.

What You’ll Do (Seasonal Grain Handler Responsibilities)

Grain Receiving & Shipping

• Unload incoming grain trucks and load outbound shipments

• Weigh, sample, and grade grain according to company standards

• Direct truck traffic and communicate clearly with drivers

Equipment Operation

• Operate conveyors, augers, dryers, bucket elevators, and skid steers

• Monitor grain flow, moisture, and temperature

• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting

Facility Maintenance

• Clean grain spills and maintain a safe, organized work area

• Assist with bin, pit, and facility upkeep

• Support inspections and preventative maintenance tasks

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines

• Use proper PPE at all times

• Report hazards or equipment issues immediately

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

• Experience in farming or grain operations (preferred but not required)

• Ability to operate equipment safely

• Comfortable working outdoors in dusty environments

• Able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor

• Willing to work extended and weekend hours during peak season
