Feed Mill Manager

Salary: $115,000
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Feed Mill Manager to oversee the daily operations of our feed mill facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in agriculture and food production, with a focus on ensuring the efficient manufacturing of high-quality feed products. Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of feed mill operations, including production scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
• Supervise and train staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Oversee the maintenance of equipment, including heavy machinery and forklifts, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with agricultural specialists to develop feed formulations that meet the nutritional needs of livestock.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Maintain accurate records related to production, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in manufacturing or food processing environments, preferably within agriculture or farming sectors.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations, particularly regarding tanker operations.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
