Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck to deliver products to various customer locations within the local area.
- Load and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling and securement of goods.
- Verify delivery addresses, obtain signatures, and complete delivery documentation accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during drop-offs and pickups.
- Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Strong knowledge of route driving, loading/unloading procedures, and safe driving practices for box trucks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to moving cargo or equipment.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations including forklift operation, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
