Shift: 2nd Shift
Salary Range: $60,250 - $70,500 annually

AISIN Manufacturing Illinois (AMI) is hiring a 2nd Shift Supervisor for our growing Rim Department. This leadership position is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with experience in high-volume manufacturing who is ready to drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement on the production floor.

As a Supervisor, you’ll oversee all aspects of production for your shift, ensuring your team meets daily operational goals while fostering a safe, positive, and high-performing work environment. You’ll lead and develop Team Leads and team members, analyze production data, and execute strategic department initiatives that support AMI’s commitment to lean manufacturing and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all team members and Team Leads in the Rim Department on 2nd Shift


• Monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and productivity targets


• Manage daily staffing, vacation scheduling, and attendance reporting


• Set and track performance goals related to efficiency, scrap, and defect rates


• Analyze production trends and implement countermeasures for improvement


• Lead 5S and safety initiatives to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment


• Coordinate and prioritize continuous improvement activities and line upgrades


• Train and develop team members, ensuring adherence to standardized work procedures


• Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular coaching and feedback


• Maintain accurate production reporting and communicate across shifts


• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and problem-solving

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment


• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing practices, including 5S and Kaizen


• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills


• Ability to motivate and guide diverse teams in a fast-paced setting


• Experience with data-driven decision-making and process improvement


• Comfortable working a 2nd shift schedule and leading on-the-floor operations
