Location: Remote (with potential return to office in Laurel, MD)
Job Type: Full-time, Contract (40 hours per week)

Your Role:
We are seeking a talented Contract Support Specialist II to join our team. This role involves providing intermediate support and assistance in all areas of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) based Federal procurement. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience and knowledge of federal contracting processes, particularly in preparing and managing acquisition plans, supporting documentation, and resolving contract-related issues. You need to have demonstrated experience with cradle-to-grave acquisition contracts, working in a high-paced acquisition environment, and processing multiple contract items. Experience with T&M, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and firm-fixed-price contracts is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide intermediate support and assistance in all areas of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) based Federal procurement, including preparing or reviewing pre-procurement packages.
- Actively participate in developing and managing acquisition plans.
- Prepare and research support documentation.
- Make quality recommendations to the Contracting Officer.
- Handle and resolve problems related to federal contracts.
- Validate data and complete actions needed to successfully advertise, solicit, construct, award, administer, and/or close out Government contracts or task/delivery orders.
- Monitor the status of and support de-obligating undelivered orders (UDOs).
- Utilize automated systems and software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and teleconference tools.
Qualifications:
- Two years of contract work experience based on the Contract Specialist (GS-1102) Qualification Standard.
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or 24 semester hours of business-related college courses.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and teleconference applications.
