Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, improving, and supporting manufacturing processes for equipment and machinery production. This role focuses on increasing efficiency, reducing costs, improving quality, and supporting the successful transition of products from engineering design to manufacturing.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems, components, and products using CAD software.
- Create and update equipment manuals.
- Designs, modifies and upgrades equipment and creates Bill of Material for implementation into ERP/JobBoss system.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and production methods.
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, routing sheets, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Support new product introductions (NPI) and engineering change implementation.
- Evaluate and recommend equipment, tooling, fixtures, and automation solutions.
- Collaborate with Design Engineering to ensure products are designed for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA).
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
- Support quality improvement efforts by investigating root causes and implementing process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Support ERP system maintenance related to manufacturing routings, labor standards, and bills of materials.
- CNC machine and tube laser programming.
- Verify specifications for design data, such as configuration of parts, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Sound knowledge and use of Inventor and AutoCAD.
- 3–7 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a mechanical equipment, machinery, OEM, or industrial manufacturing environment.
- Experience with parametric modeling, assemblies, sheet metal fabrication.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Machine shop experience is preferred.

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
