The Opportunity ...
You will be a part of the JBT Marel poultry division, located in Russellville, AR, manufacturing our C.A.T. brand of chillers, injectors, pumps, and plant monitoring and weighing systems for primary processing.
As our Material Handler-you will be reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor. You will perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials and a variety of other manual tasks as needed.
On Any Given Day, You May
High School Diploma or GED required. Must be able to work within a team environment and interact well with co-workers.
Work Environment and Physical Demands: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Work Environment
Time spent in a manufacturing shop environment. Exposure to possible shop hazards including noise, heavy lifting, machinery, forklift and crane traffic. Can be exposed to diverse hot and cold climate conditions for extended periods.
Physical Demands
Frequent standing, walking and climbing. Will be required to lift 50 lbs., push mobile carts and work from a ladder or platform.

On Any Given Day, You May
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; ensure that equipment is in working order; and oversee yard cleanliness
- Receive and unload incoming materials and compare information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment
- Inspect shipments for damage or defects; record discrepancies or damages and notify supervisor and/or purchasing personnel
- May be cross-trained in other job functions based on capacity requirements
- Must be able to effectively communicate with a team environment
- Ability to take oral and written instructions and complete tasks within the defined labor standards
- Must adhere to all internal operating procedures and safety policies
- Maintain acceptable housekeeping proactices in designated work area
