You will be leading the Electronics Engineering team, supporting R&D and manufacturing.
Responsible for the planning, execution and technical direction of electrical/software/mechanical engineering projects and staff for the Audio/Avionics business units. Projects include new designs, enhancement to existing designs, build to print, research and development, and support of proposal activity. Provides technical and administrative leadership to design team members as required and is an interface with customers.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Be
- Provide technical support to Business Unit Managers and the sales function to win new business and drive company growth.
- Develop accurate project estimates and lead technical effort for proposal generation.
- Plan project development, including: resource requirements, development costs, schedule preparation, risks and opportunities management, and any special equipment needs.
- Apply Earned Value Management techniques to maintain schedules, control project costs and satisfy customer requirements.
- Provide technical direction to team members to realize robust and efficient designs.
- Prepare and communicate necessary documentation to customers as needed.
- Maintain an organized design approach, providing system level definition as needed, to ensure that technical requirements, schedule, cost and manufacturing requirements are met.
- Stay technically informed and implement the industry's state-of-the-art technical advancements that can support existing and/or future products.
- Ensure that company policies and procedures are implemented and assist in modification and definition of these policies and procedures as needed.
- Provide guidance and mentoring for assigned personnel to continuously improve personal and overall team productivity.
- The position requires occasional domestic or international travel that could span up to a week, although 1-2 days is more typical. Total % travel is approximately 10%.
- Effectively lead and manage a staff of engineers and technicians, including responsibility for personnel administrative tasks such as interviewing, hiring, and performance management.
- Ongoing self-development and personal growth as an employee.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering (electrical preferred).
- Demonstrated full product lifecycle experience, from inception to manufacture.
- Minimum of two years' project management leadership experience.
- Minimum of two years' direct engineering management experience.
- Requires strong working knowledge of aerospace requirements or other highly regulated industry.
- Wide application of interdisciplinary engineering principles, theories and concepts.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.**
- This position requires either a US Person (as defined in applicable export regulations) or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain required export authorization by DOH.**

Salary : $150,000 - $180,000
