Cloud & Data Platform Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Cloud & Data Platform Administrator with strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform Anthos, Profisee, Cribl, and Starburst. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, configuring, monitoring, and supporting these platforms to ensure reliability, performance, and seamless integration across the enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Google Cloud Platform Anthos clusters, hybrid cloud environments, and associated services.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and lifecycle management of Profisee MDM (Master Data Management) platform.
• Manage and optimize Cribl pipelines, including data routing, transformations, observability workflows, and log data ingestion.
• Maintain and support Starburst (or Trino) data query engine, including cluster management, performance tuning, connector configurations, and security.
• Implement security best practices, access controls, and compliance standards across all platforms.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Data Engineering, and Cloud teams to integrate and optimize platform usage.
• Support upgrades, patches, documentation, and automation of routine tasks.
• Participate in on-call/production support as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on administration experience with Google Cloud Platform Anthos (Kubernetes, hybrid/multi-cloud operations).
• Expertise in Profisee MDM administration, configuration, and maintenance.
• Proven experience with Cribl Stream/Edge for log routing and observability workflows.
• Solid background managing and tuning Starburst or Trino environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking, and IAM.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) and automation tools (Terraform/Ansible).
• Experience working in enterprise, data-driven environments.

Nice-to-Have

• Google Cloud Platform certifications (PCA, ACE, or Anthos-specific).
• Knowledge of data governance, MDM best practices, and observability frameworks.
• Experience working in large-scale, distributed computing environments.
