Role Description
This is an on-site role for an A&P Instructor located in Riverside, CA. The A&P Instructor will be tasked with delivering exam preparation sessions, conducting hands-on practical training, and guiding students through oral and practical exam procedures. Responsibilities will also include mentoring students, developing lesson plans that align with FAA standards, and handling training documentation. The role requires collaboration with other instructors and staff to ensure the success of trainees.
Qualifications
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification with General Aviation experience
- Proficiency in training delivery, lesson planning, and teaching methodologies
- Hands-on experience in aviation maintenance and working knowledge of FAA regulations
- Strong communication, organizational, and mentorship abilities
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with testing and educational software
- Experience as an aviation instructor or in a related teaching/training role is a plus
- Commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment for diverse audiences, including military personnel
