What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vascular Sonographer position at AVS Medical Group?
Registered Vascular Technologist or Specialist for a busy and growing Vascular practice. Full time or part time position obtaining the safest and highest quality diagnostic vascular exams for image documentation of anatomy and pathology for interpretation by vascular surgeon.
*Graduate from a CAAHEP accredited school.*
Tech must be able to analyze test data and prepare a typed preliminary interpretation report.
Tech must be able to discuss interpretation with physician as well as recommended treatment plan.
Performs appropriate ultrasound procedures and records anatomical, pathological, and/or physiological data for interpretation by a physician.
Assists the physician in gathering sonographic data necessary to diagnose arterial and venous conditions and diseases and identify normal and abnormal flow dynamics.
Proficient in performing superficial venous and deep venous studies.
Proficient in performing peripheral arterial studies and ABIs.
Obtains, reviews, and integrates pertinent patient medical history and supporting clinical data to fascilitate optimum diagnostic results.
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
