Position Summary
Own the day-to-day performance of AVS’s Oahu warehouse. You’ll champion Flex Rental Solutions, accurate show pulls, rigorous quality control, precise inventory, and a
safe, organized facility. You set the tone—energizing your team, modeling a strong work ethic, and celebrating high standards every day.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership & Culture
- Inspire, coach, and motivate warehouse, tech and QC teams; set clear expectations and recognize great work.
- Scheduling, coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Run focused daily huddles and end-of-day debriefs; remove blockers and keep priorities visible.
- Train on Flex usage, QC procedures, safe operations, and best practices.
- Model positivity, accountability, and pride in craftsmanship—raise the bar and bring others with you.
Warehouse, Inventory & Logistics
- Oversee equipment planning, pulling, staging, QC, loading/offloading, returns, and transfers.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and organization; ensure assets are properly labeled, tested, and documented in Flex.
- Coordinate freight and local trucking with clear, timely paperwork.
- Manage preventative maintenance for equipment, lifts and vehicles.
- Logistics excellence - a logistics pro who treats timelines like promises. You anticipate constraints, build smart contingencies, coordinate vendors and freight with precision, and keep information flowing so trucks, techs, and gear arrive exactly where they should, when they should.
- Vendor & Subrental Management: Build and maintain a preferred vendor list for vendors and subrental companies; request quotes, compare options, and negotiate pricing/terms; issue clean POs; verify COIs and compliance; track inbound/outbound gear in Flex; ensure on-time delivery, full kit accuracy, and QC on arrival and return; manage RMAs, damages, and credits.
Flex Rental Solutions (Systems Excellence)
- Serve as the Flex Rental Solutions power user for Oahu operations.
- Build/maintain kits, packages, barcodes, statuses, and workflows to streamline pulls/returns.
- Generate pick lists, return check-in processes, and operational reports (utilization, shortages, repair queues) and drive corrective action.
Show Pulling & Quality Control
- Ensure every pull is complete, labeled, and show-ready.
- Lead bench tests, firmware checks, and visual inspections; escalate repairs/RMAs promptly.
- Standardize QC templates and pass/fail criteria across audio, video, lighting, scenic, networking, and power.
- Uphold AVS packing standards for durability, safety, and speed.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce OSHA and AVS safety standards; maintain clean aisles, secure racking, and proper storage.
- Keep accurate documentation for inspections, incident reporting, driver files, and certifications.
Communication & Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Technical, and Leadership to clarify equipment needs, timelines, and asset records.
- Communicate proactively on readiness, shortages, substitutions, and QC holds with solution options.

Qualifications
- 5 years in live event audiovisual warehouse/operations with hands-on Flex Rental Solutions experience (required).
- Proven strength in show pulling and equipment QC across audio, video, lighting, scenic, and networking.
- Experience leading teams: scheduling, coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Extremely positive mindset, motivator, and strong work ethic with a track record of excellence.
- Organized, detail-focused, and comfortable with barcoding/inventory systems.
- Ability to regularly lift/move 30–50 lbs
- Forklift certification (preferred).
