What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Assistant position at Avoyelles Hospital?
Assist other nursing personnel in rendering service to patients in the assigned units. The population served includes infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. (Over all life spans). The PCA performs functions appropriate to position and in compliance with hospital policies, protocol and procedures in an emergency care setting that provides care to infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. The PCA performs functions in an organized fashion. The PCA is accountable for maintaining and improving own job knowledge and skills. The PCA supports the hospital’s philosophy, goals and objectives
