This is a full-time hybrid role, based in San Marcos, CA, with opportunities for remote work. The Assistant Controller will play a key role in overseeing accounting processes, financial reporting, and compliance. Responsibilities include managing general ledger activities, preparing monthly financial statements, supporting audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing support in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Proficiency in General Ledger Management, Financial Reporting, and Budget Reconciliation
- Familiarity with Compliance Standards, Regulatory Reporting, and Audit Preparation
- Strong skills in Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Analysis
- Experience with Accounting Software and ERP Systems
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus
- Prior experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in a corporate environment
