What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Cook, 2-3 years experience position at AVONLEA COTTAGE ASSISTED LIVING?
We currently have a Part Time cook position open for our assisted living facility, Avonlea Cottage, located in Milan, IL. Our menus consist of regular home cooked meals, just like you would cook for your family at home. You will be cooking for 12 to 15 depending on the shift.
Applicants must have prior cooking experience. We have a set menu and all items needed to prepare the meal are on hand. The job requires working every other weekend and complying with IDPH rules and regulations in meal preparation. If you like to cook and work with the elderly population, this is the job for you. Applicant must be able to pass a healthcare worker background check as required by the Department of Public Health Assisted Living Division and attain an Illinois Food Handler Certificate
