Sales Experience Associate (Sales Trainee)

Overview

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The New Car Sales Experience Associate (SEA) will shadow and assist the Sales Experience Manager (SEM), while also learning the Avondale Sales Process (One Touch). The SEA will assist the SEM in the sales process by performing tasks essential to producing results, and ensuring an extraordinary client experience. The SEA will ‘graduate’ to the SEM position once the SEA’s eligibility has been determined.

Responsibilities

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL;

• Learn and implements the Avondale Sales Process (One Touch)
• Learn and utilize prospecting techniques for opportunities within SEM’s client base
• Learn and conduct deliveries (including off-site deliveries)
• Learn and perform product presentations
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the inventory
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the product including: technical specifications, exterior color options, interior trim options, optional and standard equipment and competitive advantages.
• Pull cars from inventory
• Greet SEM’s clients when necessary
• Assists with appraisal of trade-ins
• Get cars ready for deliveries (which includes taking cars to make ready/prep center, cleaning, and filling gas)
• Transport cars to offsite locations (including for dealer trades)
• Knows and understands Avondale's Privacy and Information Security Policies, and adhere to all applicable requirements
• Attends weekly department meetings
• Other duties may be assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Operator's Driver’s License (must be insurable)
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and driving record check.
• Skills – Communication, Stress tolerance, team player, accountability, result-oriented
• Flexibility with schedule
