Position: Student Support Assistant (Multiple positions available at Pine Grove and Roaring Brook Elementary Schools)
Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Psychology, Child Development, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school, community, or clinical setting.
- Prior experience supporting early childhood learners (PK-4)
- Demonstrated ability to teach or reinforce positive social, behavioral, and self-regulation skills.
- Strong understanding of child development, SEL frameworks, and positive behavior supports.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families.
- Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with young children.
- Flexible, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
