We are looking for our next Director of Nursing.
The Avon Nursing Facility is a premier care home in Avon and a proud member of the family-owned Hurlbut Care Communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead & Inspire: Direct and mentor a dedicated nursing staff, championing our incredible workplace culture while fostering a collaborative environment with the Administrator, Medical Personnel, and Department Heads.
- Ensure Excellence: Oversee clinical operations to guarantee full compliance with NYS and Federal regulations.
- Network & Collaborate: Connect with outside agencies (hospitals, insurers) and enjoy a supportive, collegial network with fellow DONs across our 11 sister facilities.
Qualifications
- Active, unblemished NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Proven track record of successful managerial experience in skilled nursing.
- Commitment to the highest clinical standards, excellent customer service, and fostering a positive team environment.
