Avon Health Center, family owned since 1974, provides a range of services, including skilled nursing care, post-acute medical and rehabilitation care, hospice and respite care. We are a 120 bed facility, 90 of which are Long Term and 30 Short Term.
Our Facility has an excellent reputation in the community and we are looking for a caring person to provide leadership and drive the quality care we are known for to our residents.
$20 – $23/hr DOE
Job Details:
The successful candidates must be able to perform the day-to-day activities of the Food Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards to assure our facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner. Ideally you should be able to work in a fast paced environment, be very detail oriented and work well under pressure. This is a PER DIEM position (shifts are usually 5:30 to 1:30 or 12 noon - 8)
$20-23/hour DOE
The ideal candidate must be able to:
- Must be familiar with altered texture diets
- Deal tactfully with residents, family members, staff and government personnel.
- May be required to stand for long periods of time
- Experience in nursing home preferred
- Lift, push, pull and move equipment and supplies without restrictions.
- ServSafe is a plus!
- 1-2 years of cooking experience including scratch cooking and experience with purees
- Communicate Well
- Work independently and as a team
Salary : $20 - $23
