The responsibility of the Elementary School Counselor is to support students by providing instruction in content area subjects.
- Inspire and support students to reach their full potential
- Collaborate with colleagues in a supportive, team-based environment
- Contribute to a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement
- Use innovative strategies and tools to enhance teaching and learning
- Collaborate with others to meet student needs in academic, career-planning, and social-emotional development.
- Valid Pennsylvania Department of Education Certification - Elementary and Secondary School Counselor (PK-12) or Elementary School Counselor (K-6)
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
