Position: Teaching Assistant, AHS
In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a positive, productive, and safe learning environment. Your primary focus will be supporting student success through small-group supervision, providing classroom coverage when teachers are absent, and assisting with daily school operations.
Student Support & Small Group Supervision: Provide supervision for students in individual and small groups in an alternate learning environment.
Substitute Coverage: Provide substitute coverage, as needed, for certified and non-certified roles.
Supervision Support: Supervise students during lunch periods, hall transitions, and study halls to ensure safety and uphold school-wide behavioral standards.
Terms of Employment: 35 hours a week as determined by the building principal exclusive of a 30-minute unpaid lunch; $20.60 per hour. No employee benefits are associated with this position.
