Job Description: Leasing Agent / Property Manager (Multifamily)
We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Leasing Agent / Property Manager for our multifamily properties. This role requires someone who takes ownership of their work, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
Leasing & Customer Service
- Conduct property tours, schedule showings, and follow up with prospective tenants.
- Manage the entire leasing process: applications, screening, approvals, digital lease preparation, sending and receiving contracts, and coordinating move-ins.
- Maintain ongoing communication with prospects and tenants to ensure a smooth and professional experience.
- Work actively to maximize occupancy through consistent follow-up and strong customer engagement.
Property Management & Operations
- Act as a primary link between management, supers, and maintenance teams.
- Ensure work orders are entered, assigned, tracked, and completed promptly.
- Handle tenant concerns, issues, or complaints in a calm, solution-oriented manner.
- Coordinate with vendors when needed for repairs, services, or property projects.
- Assist with rent reminders, rent follow-ups, and general tenant compliance.
- Maintain oversight of day-to-day operations to support a clean, safe, and well-managed property.
Qualifications
- Sales, office manager, customer service, or administrative background strongly preferred—property management experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and respond professionally to unexpected situations or emergencies.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of customer service.
- Comfortable learning and using property management and online software systems (almost all tasks are digital).
