Working under the guidance of our Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for the consistent execution of high-quality dishes for our restaurant, bar, and banquets.
Key Responsibilities
- Master the Line: Execute sautéing, grilling, poaching, and braising with precision; maintain deep knowledge of soups, stocks, and sauces.
- Set the Standard: Follow recipes exactly, accommodate guest requests, and ensure every plate meets our "dazzle and delight" presentation standards.
- Kitchen Excellence: Maintain a spotless, organized station; adhere to all state health codes and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate: Work seamlessly with the kitchen team to manage inventory, communicate needs, and support banquet execution.
- Trained: 1 years of proven cooking experience (upscale/luxury hotel experience preferred). A Culinary degree or formal training is a plus.
- Certified: Must possess a current, valid ServSafe Food Handler’s Certification.
- Skilled: Strong knife skills and proficiency with professional kitchen equipment (ranges, slicers, charbroilers).
- Resilient: Thrives in a high-heat, fast-paced environment; able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexible: Ready to work a varying schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays to support the house.
