The Mattress Builder II is responsible for assembling and constructing mattresses from various components, ensuring quality and adherence to design specifications. The role involves operating machinery, using hand tools, and working with different materials to produce high-quality mattresses that meet customer and industry standards.
This is a non-exempt position, meaning it is hourly and you are entitled to overtime pay.

The Mattress Builder II is responsible for assembling and constructing mattresses from various components, ensuring quality and adherence to design specifications. The role involves operating machinery, using hand tools, and working with different materials to produce high-quality mattresses that meet customer and industry standards.
This is a non-exempt position, meaning it is hourly and you are entitled to overtime pay.
- Note on Location: You will be working on-site at our manufacturing site in Fullerton, California. This is not a remote position.
- Note on Pay Transparency: The pay range for this role is between $17.00 and $19.63 Hourly.
- Place and flip mattress springs and mattress on mattress building table.
- Attach mattress components to springs and use a fastener or glue gun to bind the components- scan law tag when finished.
- Lift, carry, and place bed on tape edge conveyor.
- Monitor work for quality and send mattress or subparts for re-work if needed.
- Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.
- Open to learning a new role and being taught how to assemble a mattress.
- Proven experience as assembler preferred.
- Must be able to lift heavy- team lift.
- Power tool knowledge (I.E: Clamps, and other tools).
- Keen eye for detail, and good eye/hand coordination.
- Follow company safety culture and Cal OSHA regulations.
- Report incident injury and hazard to managers.
- Able to identify work hazard situations .
- Following the company safety culture while performing the job duties required for the position.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Move: This role involves moving throughout the warehouse to access different products and machines.
- Lift: Frequently moves material weighing up to 50 pounds from pallets to the production line.
- Operate: Constantly operates a computer and other office machines such as printers and tablets, as well as warehouse machinery.
- Communicate: This role frequently communicates with other team members to update on the status of a task.
