Members of our staff can design, prototype, and produce next generation products for a diverse range of markets including environmental, medical, military, industrial, aerospace, and communications.
We seek a diligent, dedicated, and meticulous Manufacturing Cost Analyst who will help to further our success and reputation in the industry through world-class customer service. The successful candidate must plan his/her own work schedule, keep multiple records, be self-motivated, maintain a professional presence, and have the desire to take ownership of projects.
Specifically:
- Ensure accurate and timely tracking of production costs.
- Become fully integrated in production: key personnel, flow of materials, and order of operations.
- Analyze planned vs. actual costs by identifying and explaining variances related to material usage and labor costs.
- Produce daily production, variance, and gross margin reports.
- Assist with reconciliation of inventory during cycle counts and YE physical inventory.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement to highlight yield concerns.
- Communicate findings in a timely manner to support decision making processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Seven years of cost accounting or financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced skills in Excel with familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) are crucial.
- Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve problems.
- 100% accuracy and confidentiality in working with cost data.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
