Avo Photonics (www.avophotonics.com) is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops, and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base. We seek a diligent, dedicated, and meticulous person who will help to further our success and reputation in the industry through world-class customer service.
Specifically:
- Assist Logistics Coordinator in safely loading and unloading goods and materials from company truck moving between two local manufacturing facilities.
- Ensure that all items are properly secured and organized for transport.
- Communicate effectively with the Logistics Coordinator and warehouse teams.
- Support with maintaining accurate inventory at both facilities.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the company vehicle.
- Follow all safety protocols and company standards.
- Perform related duties as required or assigned within the job classification.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clean driving record and knowledge of DOT regulations
- 1 years experience in logistics
- Regularly maneuver and lift stock (up to 50 lbs) while maintaining long-duration standing or walking within a warehouse environment
- Forklift/pallet truck experience
- Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
