Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Counselor to join our outpatient Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) team. This role is ideal for a clinician who values connection, teamwork, and individualized care, and who is passionate about supporting clients through recovery in a structured outpatient setting.
Required Licensure (Ohio)
Applicants must hold an active license in the state of Ohio as one of the following:
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
- Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC II or LCDC III)
What You’ll Do
- Facilitate engaging and clinically sound group therapy sessions within PHP and IOP levels of care
- Provide individual therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented approaches
- Complete intake assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical documentation
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team to provide holistic, coordinated care
- Support clients in identifying goals, building coping skills, and strengthening long-term recovery supports
- Maintain ethical practice and compliance with all state, federal, and organizational standards
What We’re Looking For
- A warm, relational clinician who values teamwork and client dignity
- Strong group facilitation and communication skills
- Experience working with substance use disorders (preferred, but not required for the right candidate)
- Ability to manage documentation efficiently while maintaining high clinical standards
