Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Location: Ohio

Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Reports To: Clinical Director

Position Summary

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides evidence-based behavioral assessment and intervention services to individuals with autism spectrum disorders. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring behavior support plans that promote skill acquisition, reduce maladaptive behaviors, and improve overall quality of life. This role requires adherence to Ohio state regulations, ethical standards, and best practices in behavior analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to guide treatment decisions
  • Provide direct and indirect behavioral services in clinical or school
  • Train and supervise staff, caregivers, and other stakeholders on behavior support strategies
  • Monitor client progress and modify interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, case managers, medical providers, and family members
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and organizational standards
  • Ensure compliance with Ohio laws and regulations governing behavior analytic services
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

Required:

  • Certification as a Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst (COBA)
  • Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis or related field
  • Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • May require lifting (up to 25 lbs) and implementing physical interventions when necessary
  • Ability to respond quickly in crisis situations
