Avloni Law, a plaintiff-side employment and civil rights law firm in San Francisco, is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and personable Litigation Paralegal/Intake Specialist. Our firm represents employees in discrimination, retaliation, harassment, whistleblower, leave, and wrongful-termination matters.
Prior legal experience is welcome but not required. We encourage applicants from other professional backgrounds to apply and are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Conduct initial client intakes and prepare clear factual summaries and chronologies.
- Screen prospective matters and organize supporting documents for attorney review.
- Communicate with clients regarding records, deadlines, mitigation efforts, damages, and case updates.
- Collect and organize employment, medical, therapy, wage, and job-search records.
- Maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and task lists.
- Assist with written discovery, document productions, subpoenas, deposition preparation, and exhibit organization.
- Prepare initial drafts of routine correspondence, notices, discovery documents, and case summaries.
- Assist with mediation and trial preparation, including damages documentation and witness coordination.
- Maintain accurate information in the firm’s case-management and document-storage systems.
- Coordinate scheduling and follow up with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and vendors.
- Assist with coordinating focus group.
- Assist with drafting, editing, formatting, and publishing blog posts and other educational or marketing content for the firm’s website and social media platforms.

- California employment-law or litigation experience is a plus.

Position Details
- Full-time
- Hybrid with 3 days in the San Francisco office
- Compensation: $60,000–$90,000 annually, depending on relevant experience, qualifications, and the level of training required.
