PRN Driver must have passenger endorsement

This position is important to our residents to help them keep doctor's appointments and attend events and activities.

Shift Details:

We are currently searching for a Driver to assist with the following shift: ( Sunday-Thursday 8am-5pm ). Please note, this may change throughout employment as needed with notice.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Safely operate the company vehicles to take residents to and from appointments and activities.
• Assist residents with boarding the vehicle safely and offloading and getting to their destination safely.
• Do safety checks before operating vehicle and operate safely and in accordance with laws.
• Empty trash in some assigned areas daily.
• Do light maintain work when not busy driving.
• May need to make part pickups for maintenance.
• Employee may lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Regular and predictable attendance daily.

Qualifications, skills, and abilities:

• Be able to safely operate a 14 passenger vehicle
• Must have a valid CT Passenger P driver's license
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and a DOT drug test
• Have 10 years or more experience driving and a clean driving record
• Communicate in English clearly and courteously with our residents and fellow staff
• Be able to safely assist residents in boarding and exiting vehicle
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness
• Be able to assist with light maintenance duties at community when not driving
