Role Overview
Were looking for a hands-on content creator who can concept, produce, and deliver visually stunning photo and video assets for use across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other channels. This is not just a scheduling role: youll be directing and capturing content, editing it for each platform, and ensuring every piece reflects the high-end, emotional experience of our venues. Youll also oversee our content strategy, coordinate shoots, and build a library of evergreen and seasonal assets. While the position will begin as a 34 month contract, there is strong potential for it to evolve into a long-term, strategic role within our growing company.

Key Responsibilities
Content Production & Creative Direction
- Lead the creation of original photo and video content, from concept to final edit, for use across multiple platforms.
- Capture behind-the-scenes, real wedding moments, venue highlights, and styled shoots to tell our brand story.
- Edit and adapt content for platform-specific requirements (aspect ratio, captions, trending audio).
- Maintain an organized content library for ongoing and future use.
- Proactively reach out to photographers from past weddings to collect and organize event photography and video.
- Secure rights and permissions for marketing use, ensuring all content aligns with brand standards.
- Hire and direct photographers, videographers, and drone operators.
- Develop shot lists and creative briefs to ensure brand cohesion and high-quality deliverables.
- Create and maintain a regular posting schedule across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Rotate through key content categories (real weddings, venue beauty shots, food & beverage) with strong calls to action.
- Monitor comments, tags, and DMs; respond in brand voice or escalate to the team as needed.
- Engage with partner vendors and past/current clients to build visibility and loyalty.
- Bachelors degree and 24 years of experience in content creation, photography/videography, or social media ideally in weddings, hospitality, or lifestyle.
- Skilled in DSLR/mirrorless camera work, mobile content creation, and basic lighting setups.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop) or similar tools; experience with Canva and basic video editing preferred.
- Comfortable hiring and directing freelance creatives and managing production budgets.
- Creative, resourceful, and able to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines.
- Submission of a content portfolio (photo, video, or both) is strongly preferred and will be a major factor in candidate selection.
- Length: 34 months (minimum)
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Start Date: ASAP (flexible)
- Compensation: $30$35/hour, depending on experience
- Location: Hybrid; remote work with bi-monthly travel to venues (travel expenses covered by Aviva Hospitality Group)
