We’re currently seeking a dedicated Patient Care Assistant (PCA)/Unit Clerk to join our Emergency Department at our Bucyrus location.
Position Overview
Meets the communication needs of the patient, family and staff. Prepares and compiles records in the facility. Initiates directions from physician and nursing staff. Provides basic nursing care to Emergency Department patients. Maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and facility policies and procedures and standards.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current BLS certification or within 30 days of hire date.
Preferred:
- STNA Certification or Paramedic or EMS Certification.
