We’re currently seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our Laboratory Department at our Ontario, Galion or Bucyrus location.
Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager or designee, provides laboratory services to meet the needs of patients performed in accordance with accepted standards and practices. Performs laboratory procedures to provide information for the diagnosing and monitoring of medical treatment. Maintains all chemistry analyzers and provides training to others on proper procedure.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, or Bachelor degree in a laboratory related science (i.e.: microbiology, allied health, etc.) accompanied by an Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Current BLS certificate.
- Adheres to regulatory requirements including all State, Federal and the accrediting body regulations.
Preferred:
- Certified as Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS); ASCP, AMT(HHS)
- Three years of previous clinical laboratory experience.
