What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mold Maker position at Avista Tech Inc?
Job Qualifications:
- Must display a complete understanding/proficiency of all aspects of the injection molds repair
- Extensive experience to assembly, disassembly, trouble shooting, inspection, repair, polishing, fitting of parting lines of injection molds.
- Able to diagnose mold issues and fix or come up with suggestions to repair.
- Minimum: High School graduate
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in injection mold repair on molds up to 7000 LBS.
- Understand the molding, materials, and their relationship to the mold-making process
- Work unsupervised or in a team setting
- Able to stand for extended periods
Should be proficient in tooling/equipment such as:
- Grinder
- Manual Vertical Mill
- Hand grinding
- Overhead crane
- Folk lift truck

- Take care of all miscellaneous details on the job or get support help with them through the Tooling Manage/Supervisor.
- Work with Tooling Management daily to make sure their jobs do not sit in specialty departments and all schedules are met.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
