Our Culinary High School Internship offers a hands-on opportunity to learn real-world kitchen skills while making a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults.

This program introduces students to professional culinary operations in a senior living community, combining practical experience with career exploration.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with food preparation (washing, chopping, assembling ingredients)
• Support meal service in dining rooms and resident areas
• Learn food safety and sanitation standards
• Help with kitchen organization, cleaning, and stocking
• Observe menu planning and dietary accommodations
• Work alongside experienced culinary professionals

• Part-time internship (flexible schedule around school, 10-20 hours)
• Fall & Spring Semester
• 3 locations within the Mesa area (Downtown Mesa, Southeast Mesa, and Apache Junction).
