Avista Senior Living in Payson, AZ is seeking highly motivated, reliable Med Techs to join our growing team. We are a team where Kindness Counts, providing loving care to Memory Care residents Experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care is strongly preferred.

Essential Job Functions:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, positioning, transfers, and mobility within the guidelines of state law and company policies and procedures .
- Assist all residents in participating in planned activity program seven days per week. • Prepare, assist with and document the administration of medication to residents under supervision of licensed nurse and in strict compliance with state regulations and physician’s orders.
- Prepare residents for meals and snacks and assist residents in dining room.
- Keep proper records of care given.
- Follow all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms, common areas, offices and corridors as outlined in housekeeping procedures. Ensure all areas are safe. • Attend all required in-service training.
- Comply with and understand all resident rights.
- Communicate all pertinent information to Director of Nursing.
- Communicate with oncoming shift to ensure follow through of duties.
- Report unsafe or hazardous conditions immediately.
Requirements:
- Valid Caregivers Certificate or CNA license
- Current CPR and First Aid
- Fingerprint clearance card
- Current TB or CXR (Able to provide upon hiring)
- 3 references: 2 personal and one professional
Salary : $19 - $20
