Duties/Responsibilities:
- Cleans/polishes furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc., in residents’ rooms, and the community’s living/recreational areas, etc., as instructed.
- Cleans, washes, sanitizes and/or polishes bathroom fixtures and ensures that all water marks are removed from fixtures.
- Cleans floors, to include: sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting etc., as instructed, and always ensures that CAUTION/SAFETY signs are properly set-up PRIOR to performing such duties.
- Cleans carpets, to include: vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting, as instructed.
- Cleans walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing etc., as instructed.
- Removes dirt, dust, grease, film etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
- Cleans hallways as necessary or instructed.
- Disposes of waste/trash into proper containers and re-lines trash receptacles with plastic liners.
Qualifications:
- Experience in housekeeping in a healthcare setting is a plus
- Experience in customer service is highly desired
- Upbeat and positive team player attitude
- Strong judgment and solutions-oriented
Salary : $15 - $16
