Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, in a fast-paced kitchen environment

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety guidelines and regulations

• Order and receive food supplies, manage inventory, and maintain cost control measures

• Work collaboratively with the dietary team to plan and execute special events and activities

• Ensure excellent customer service, responding promptly to resident and staff needs and requests

• Collaborate with other departments to maintain a positive and respectful work environment

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a cook or in a related culinary role

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
