Certified Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist Full-Time
AVISTA Medical Center provides exceptional Physician-led Family Healthcare and seeks high-quality medical assistants/phlebotomists to join its team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities include rooming and providing professional care to patients, answering phones, note-taking, updating medical information, performing phlebotomy, stocking and inventorying medical supplies, and general cleaning.
Experience Required (willing to train suitable candidates) - front and back office tasks, computer and EMR, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, payment processing, general messaging, lab work, autoclave, giving injections, and exam room cleanup/prep.
Physical Requirements: Standing and sitting for long periods, repetitive finger motion while using a keyboard and phone, opening doors, assisting (supporting) patients, lifting small boxes, and full body motion for cleaning/restocking.
Individual Requirements - A professional level of personal hygiene is a must, reliable transportation, respect for patient rights, trainability, willingness to follow orders, and the ability to adequately communicate with patients, providers, and staff.
