A leading electronics testing company is seeking an R&D Technician 4 to support prototype testing and characterization, collaborating with R&D Engineers and NPI Technicians in an ESD-controlled environment.
R&D Technician 4 Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with R&D Engineers and NPI Technicians to support prototype testing within an ESD-controlled environment.
- Calibrate and run automated tests on prototypes, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Run scripts to determine failure modes and communicate findings back to the R&D team.
- Execute automated performance characterization tests on prototypes at temperature and humidity, and collect and document data to support engineering analysis
R&D Technician 4 Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or NPI environment, or equivalent.
- Higher-level education or certifications in electronics are preferred.
- Classroom or work experience using electronic test equipment, specifically oscilloscopes, is preferred.
- General knowledge of electronics and electronics manufacturing.
- Experience in electronic mechanical assembly, including torque drivers.
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
