Facilities Inspector 1461268 Hourly pay: $25/hrWorksite: Leading university (Stanford, CA 94305 - Onsite)W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL40 hours/week, 2 Month AssignmentA leading university is seeking a Facilities Inspector. The successful candidate will process non-standard requests, initiate appropriate documentation, and notify Building Manager and/or coordinate with outside agencies as needed.Facilities Inspector Responsibilities:Work closely with custodial team and Building Manager to identify deficiencies and make recommendations to remedy problems.Perform facility inspections on a routine basis.Accountable for key control and assets provided.Identify maintenance needs throughout assigned buildings (i.e. safety concerns, missing furniture, etc.)Enter corrective work orders to rectify any maintenance issues that are found during building inspections.Assist with special facility related projects as deemed necessary by Building Manager.Ability to interface appropriately with colleagues and outside vendor groups.Facilities Inspector Qualifications:1 years of experience in an educational or facilities environment.HS diploma or GED.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to effectively solve and respond to complicated requests.MS Word and Excel experience.Excellent customer service, both in written and oral communication.May be required/asked to drive an electric golf cart.A valid driver’s license. Driving will be required more than 50%.Availability to complete an online Golf Cart Training course after hire.Shift:Monday to Friday - 7 am-3:30 pm.(H)
