Job Summary
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. This role includes developing individualized treatment plans, implementing therapy, and monitoring patient progress to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled speech therapy services and interventions in accordance with patient needs and regulatory guidelines
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care
- Implement and modify treatment plans based on patient progress
- Perform and support swallowing assessments and provide mealtime interventions as appropriate
- Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust approaches as clinically necessary
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
- Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehabilitation
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Texas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- SNF/long-term care experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of current treatment practices
- Familiarity with Net Health electronic documentation system preferred
- In-house rehab (non-contracted)
- Flexible PRN scheduling
- Supportive, team-oriented work environment
Salary : $50 - $60
