The Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the rehabilitation department, ensuring quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, efficient staffing, and outstanding service for residents and their families. - Lead and manage the rehabilitation department.
- Oversee therapy services and ensure treatment plans are implemented effectively.
- Coordinate admissions, evaluations, treatments, and discharge planning.
- Monitor therapist documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, labor hours, and departmental performance.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and referral sources.
- Support the recruitment, development, and retention of rehabilitation staff.
- Current licensure as an SLP,OT, PT, PTA, COTA.
- Previous leadership or rehabilitation management experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation services, regulatory requirements, and skilled nursing operations.
