Ensure all preparation and cooking strictly adheres to State Department of Health Rules and Regulations and established facility standards. - Prepare simple food regimes and basic modified diets regarding individual resident nutritional needs.
- Adjust recipes to yield the required number of servings if necessary.
- Test recipes and recommend changes in recipes.
- Prepare and cook food in batches, maintaining high quality and appeal.
- Directs activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous office experience preferred.
- Previous Nursing Home experience preferred.
- Culinary and/or food service experience in a health care facility preferred.
