Pay starts at $46 an hour and increases based on experience.

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities
Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans to improve independence with daily living activities.
Assess functional, cognitive, perceptual, and physical abilities to identify rehabilitation needs.
Administer occupational therapy treatments designed to enhance strength, coordination, mobility, safety awareness, and overall function.
Develop and implement programs that help residents achieve maximum independence in activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and compensatory strategies to improve safety and independence.
Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy team members, residents, and families to ensure optimal outcomes.
Provide education and training to residents, family members, and caregivers.
Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care and regulatory requirements.
Complete documentation accurately and timely in compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning conferences.
Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
SNF/Long-Term Care experience preferred but not required.
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
